HRH Speech (literally)

Just watched the Prince's speech (sad I know, but somewhat justified in that I was actually waiting for the news to come on afterwards...*cough cough*)- and wanted to know if everyone agrees on HRH's accent as RP, or if we possibly have a case for a watered down version.

To put it more sensibly, is it only me (or should this pronoun be 'I'?) who found non-standard/non-RP features in the way he spoke? Discuss...

Tragically I missed this, having better things to do (counting nails, polishing my buttons, dusting under my sofa). What sort of non-RP features were there? Not full-blown Estuary English or even MEYD was it?!

tut tut for not watching- I can assure you it was delightful... ok fronting aside, realistically I only noticed what I thought were 2 glottal stops and a few ommitions of the 't' in word final position!

Damn his royal eyes! He's virtually speaking Estuary. I long for the moment Princess Camilla starts spitting ghetto slang.

"Brap", and furthermore, "brap".
